National Association of Home Builders Inducts 2009 IRM Fellow

March 16, 2009 - (RealEstateRama) — The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) Institute of Residential Marketing (IRM) recently inducted Roger Fiehn, MIRM, CMP, MCSP, into its third class of Fellows. Fiehn was named Fellow at the annual IRM Commencement Breakfast held during the 2009 International Builders’ Show in Las Vegas earlier this year.

“Roger has been a big part of the IRM for years,” said S. Robert August, Fellow, MIRM, CMP, 2008 President of the IRM. “His passion, experience, excellent teaching skills and dedication to our industry are exemplary, and he truly deserves the accolade.”

Advancement to Fellow is the highest membership honor bestowed upon a Member of the Institute of Residential Marketing (MIRM), reflecting the member’s significant contributions to the profession. To be eligible for nomination, an individual must be an active MIRM for a minimum of ten years.

The College of Fellows was founded in 2006 by the IRM to introduce an elite IRM membership level and build a community of Fellows to:

- Promote the profession of selling and marketing new homes and/or related products and services;

- Advance the standards of sales and marketing education;

- Make the profession an ever-increasing service to the building industry; and

- Advance the value of the IRM and its designations among homebuilding professionals.

Roger Fiehn, MIRM, CMP, MCSP, is president and CEO of Roger Fiehn & Associates of Houston, Texas, a company specializing in sales, marketing and business management strategies since 1988.

He has been involved with NSMC since 1977 and is a past Chair of the Council, as well as a past IRM President. Roger’s most notable contribution to NSMC/IRM is his continuing grassroots efforts to connect with councils and associations all over the country in an effort to grow membership and promote education.
