Washington, DC. – July 22, 2011 – (RealEstateRama) — International law firm Nixon Peabody LLP is pleased to announce that Tatiana Gutierrez Abendschein has been named to the Associate Advisory Council for the National Law Center on Homelessness & Poverty.

The mission of the Law Center is to prevent and end homelessness by serving as the legal arm of the nationwide movement to end homelessness. To achieve its mission, the organization pursues three main strategies: impact litigation, policy advocacy and public education.

Ms. Gutierrez Abendschein, an associate in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office, focuses her practice in affordable housing law, representing developers, investors, syndicators, management companies, and housing authorities on affordable housing transactions and dispositions.
