ATLANTA, GA – October 21, 2011 – (RealEstateRama) — Real Estate Mortgage Network, Inc. (REMN), one of the largest, privately held non-bank lenders in the US, is pleased to announce their sponsorship of the upcoming Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac Industry Day, taking place in Atlanta on October 24, 2011. Presented by American Real Estate University and Southern REO, Industry Day is an event held to help real estate professionals understand the critical resources available and better ways of working with both Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Representatives from REMN will be on site throughout the conference, in addition to giving key-note presentations on unique programs the company has launched to better leverage the challenging state of the current housing market.

Kerry Langley, REMN’s Director of Sustainable and High Performance Lending, will be speaking in two key-note sessions during the event. The first session, occurring at 9:45 am, will touch upon REMN’s 203(k) Concierge Service and Energy Efficient Mortgage programs, two recently introduced initiatives that have found great success within the industry, even in a down economy. During a second presentation taking place at 2:00 pm, Langley will dive into the intricacies of Fannie Mae’s HomePath financing program and discuss REMN’s upcoming ‘Restoring The American Dream’ initiative, a billion dollar commitment by the company to provide mortgage solutions for home owners and home buyers across the country.

“At REMN, we pride ourselves on our commitment to customer service, but also on having an entrepreneurial spirit that has helped us not just survive, but also succeed during hard times. One of the reasons we’re sponsoring Industry Day is to share some of our recent success stories with other real estate professionals and show them how it is possible, even in lean years, to help people secure their next home,” commented Rick Floyd, REMN’s Managing Director of Retail Sales, who will also be attending Industry Day.

As a whole, REMN combines the services of consumer facing retail branches with those of a large-scale wholesale brokerage and online channels. REMN currently has more than 30 retail offices licensed to originate loans across the continental US, in addition to their online consumer direct division, which is doing business as FinanceMyHome.com. The company employs more than 600 people throughout offices in California, Connecticut, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, South Carolina and Texas. In 2010 alone, REMN closed nearly $3 billion in home loans, solidifying its position as one of the largest independent non-bank lenders in the U.S.

The Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac Industry Day will take place at the Atlanta Holiday Inn Select, located at 4386 Chamblee-Dunwoody Road, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Real Estate professionals can register online at http://fannieandfreddie.eventbrite.com.
