WASHINGTON, D.C. – January 08, 2012 – (RealEstateRama) — The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) announced today that Eileen O’Grady Ramage has been named as its new chief financial officer. A certified public accountant, Ramage has 10 years of experience serving as a CFO of a national trade association. Previously, she served in senior management positions in the private sector and as partner at a public accounting firm. She is also a certified association executive.

“I am delighted to welcome Eileen Ramage as CFO and a member of our senior leadership team,” said Jerry Howard, chief executive officer of NAHB. “In this uncertain economic climate, I am confident that her background, experience and management skills will help keep our association on a sound financial footing and ensure that NAHB has the resources to meet the challenges facing our industry and deliver first-rate services to our members,” he said.

“I look forward to joining one of the largest and most influential housing trade associations in Washington and helping NAHB to strengthen its fiscal foundation so that all its members can thrive,” said Ramage.

In her capacity as chief financial officer of NAHB, Ramage will manage a budget in excess of $65 million. She succeeds Joe Barney, who is retiring after serving 15 years as the association’s top financial officer.
