ATLANTA, GEORGIA – January 10, 2012 – (RealEstateRama) — Three wishes will come true for Atlanta area children with severe medical conditions this holiday season thanks to the help of the Make-A-Wish Foundation and the Harry Norman, Realtors’ Young Realtors Council. For the past seven years, the Young Realtors Council has held a bowl-a-thon at Midtown Bowl to raise funds for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Georgia.

Since 2006, Harry Norman’s Young Realtors Council has raised more than $100,000 and granted 16 wishes to the Make-a-Wish Foundation children. “This year we raised more than $20,000 and we couldn’t be more proud,” said Lindsey Cheney, Harry Norman sales associate and the 2012 Young Realtors’ Council (YRC) chairwoman.

The YRC was established in 2005 and includes all company sales associates 40 years of age and under. The primary purpose of the council is to bring agents together for educational, philanthropic and social networking functions.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation grants wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions. It began in the United States in 1980, and now serves children in 47 countries on five continents.
