NAREE’s Seventh Annual Bruss Book Competition
WASHINGTON, D.C. – March 24, 2014 – (RealEstateRama) — Authors of books published in 2013 in the broad field of real estate — including green building, sustainable design, home buying and selling, commercial real estate, finance, mortgage lending, foreclosures and investing – are eligible to enter NAREE’s 7th Annual Bruss Book Competition.
But hurry! The entry deadline is less than two weeks away. Entries must be postmarked by April 10, 2014 and received at the NAREE office later than April 15.
The National Association of Real Estate Editors, NAREE, a non-profit association of writers and editors founded in 1929, will honor the Bruss Book winners at its 48th Annual Spring Conference in Houston on Friday, June 13, 2014.

Gold, Silver and Bronze awards, plus a first-time author award will be presented. The Gold Award winner will received a $1,000 Award. The Silver award winner will receive a $500 award. Both the Bronze and First-Time Author honorees will receive $250 awards.
Entrants should submit three copies of their book and a 5,000-word excerpt. Many authors choose a key chapter or two as an excerpt.
NAREE’s book awards are named for the late Bob Bruss, syndicated real estate columnist, prolific writer and NAREE leader. Bruss frequently wrote reviews of real estate books. For a list of last year’s winners visit NAREE.org and scroll down to “Association Headlines.”
