CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA, – August 1, 2014 – (RealEstateRama) — Modular Building Institute is proud to announce their nomination as a finalist for U.S. Green Building Council’s inaugural Best Professional Association award, which will be given as part of USGBC’s annual member-selected Best of Building Awards. These awards celebrate the year’s best green products, projects, organizations, and individuals making impact in green building. Nominees and winners are selected by the members of USGBC, which is made up of tens of thousands of member organizations, chapters, and student and community volunteers who are dedicated to promoting sustainability in the building and construction industry.

Modular Building Institute CEO Tom Hardiman states, “MBI and all of our members are honored to be recognized for MBI’s promotion of a GREENER, FASTER, SMARTER construction process by the U.S. Green Building Council. This recognition for our association will bring real awareness to the green practices already in use by modular builders.”

MBI demonstrates the dedication of it and its members to greener, faster, smarter, building each year at its World of Modular convention and tradeshow, which is to be held in Las Vegas in March 2015. MBI is also excited to again take part in this year’s Greenbuild Expo, USGBC’s annual tradeshow.

Voting for the Best of Building Awards will begin on August 4 and run through August 22. All employees of USGBC member companies may vote online starting August 4 at www.usgbc.org/best-of-building, after creating a log in.
