Kennedy Wilson Hires Two in Austin Office

WASHINGTON, D.C. – October 16, 2014 – (RealEstateRama) — International real estate investment and services firm Kennedy Wilson has announced the hire of Victor Russo, CCIM, CPM®, and Su Kosub, CCIM, to the firm’s Properties Group in Austin, Texas. Russo has been appointed as the regional director of acquisitions and investment sales, and Kosub as senior director of investment sales and leasing. With these hires, Kennedy Wilson continues its momentum from the additions to the firm’s San Antonio office earlier this year to further expand its presence in Texas.

Russo comes to Kennedy Wilson’s Properties Group from Wereldhave Management USA, Inc. in Austin, where he served as executive vice president for its U.S. property portfolio from 2009 to 2013. A veteran asset manager and deal maker of 30 years, Russo has been consistently recognized as one of the most experienced landlord representatives in Texas and throughout the United States. He held past senior positions in property management and leasing with Cushman & Wakefield, CBRE and Jones Lang LaSalle in Texas. Russo earned his bachelor’s in business administration from Southwest Texas State University.

Kosub joins Kennedy Wilson as a senior director of investment sales and leasing. Kosub brings more than 20 years of experience assisting office and industrial companies involved in manufacturing, semiconductor, petrochemical, advanced technology and life sciences identify real estate opportunities for present and future needs.

Before joining Kennedy Wilson, Kosub was a commercial real estate agent, consultant and principal of a business development, sales and marketing consulting firm. As a consultant, Kosub worked with companies serving the commercial real estate industry, including general contractors, architects, start-up manufacturers and manufacturers’ representatives, among others. She began her career in outside industrial/technical sales with Calgon Corporation as a district sales engineer in the petrochemical industry in Baton Rouge and New Orleans, Louisiana. In 1993, she joined Ryan Herco in Austin, selling high-purity fluid systems to the semiconductor industry. Subsequent contracts and assignments have provided her with extensive experience in cleanrooms, wet labs, data centers and the clean energy and MRO/OEM markets. Kosub earned her Master of Business Administration at St. Edward’s University, and her Bachelor of Science at Louisiana State University.
