TH Real Estate invests in business development function in London and New York

New York – June 29, 2015 – (RealEstateRama) — TH Real Estate has created three new roles within its global business development department and relocated a key executive to Asia, reflecting an enhanced focus on its global product range.

Nicole Mitchell has joined as Director and will be based in London. Her role will also be supported by the addition of Antonia Hass, as Analyst. Shawn Lese has joined as Head of Business Development, North America, based in New York. Meanwhile, Carsten Kebbedies has been appointed Head of Business Development, Asia-Pacific, based in Singapore, following a relocation from TH Real Estate’s Frankfurt office. They will focus on the identification, development and execution of real estate products and strategies in their respective regions, in addition to developing partnerships that will further enhance the TH Real Estate platform. Nicole, Shawn and Carsten will all report to TH Real Estate’s Head of Global Business Development, Austin Mitchell.

Shawn joins TH Real Estate with nearly 20 years’ experience in the real estate and financial markets. Shawn was most recently a Managing Director with Grosvenor, where he focused on business development and capital raising for the company’s fund management business. At Grosvenor, Shawn developed, structured and marketed new investment products, involving private and public equity strategies that focused on various real estate sub-sectors, geographies, risk profiles and investment structures. Prior to that, Shawn was an Executive Director in Morgan Stanley’s New York and London offices, working as a member of the firm’s real estate investment banking team. In this role, Shawn advised public and private real estate companies, and investment managers on restructurings, joint ventures, mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, and public and private markets transactions, at both the corporate and asset levels.

Nicole joins the company from Schroders, where she was Head of Legal for their real estate investment management business. Prior to her role at Schroders, Nicole was a member of Pramerica’s in-house legal team, where she focused on the establishment of real estate joint ventures in France, Germany and the Middle East. As a qualified solicitor, Nicole has over 8 years’ experience of the legal aspects of real estate finance and investment, obtained both while in private practice at Allen & Overy LLP, and acting as in-house counsel for real estate investment managers. Antonia graduated from Imperial College London last year and has been working since then in the Investor Relations team of a highly-regarded Asian real estate fund manager.
