Ronald C. Nahas Elected Chairman of BRIDGE Housing

SAN FRANCISCO, CA – January 6, 2015 – (RealEstateRama) — Ronald C. Nahas has been elected Chairman of the Board of Directors of BRIDGE Housing, a leading nonprofit developer, owner and manager of affordable housing. Mr. Nahas first joined the BRIDGE board in 2005 and has served as Finance Committee Chair and Vice Chairman.

Mr. Nahas is a partner of the real estate firm Rafanelli & Nahas, which specializes in the development, ownership and management of market-rate multifamily housing in the East Bay. The partnership also owns and manages office, retail, industrial and apartment buildings in Boise, Idaho. Mr. Nahas is a past Trustee of the Urban Land Institute and a past Chairman of the ULI Residential Gold Council.

At its December meeting, the BRIDGE Board also conferred Emeritus status to Kent Colwell, Principal of Parthenon Associates, who joined the BRIDGE Board in 1988 and Peter Palmisano, Partner, Pacific Union Development Co., who has served as a Board member since 1995.
