The U.S. Department of Agriculture Cotton Annex was built in 1937. The property is located at 300 12th St. SW in Washington, D.C. The 118,000 gross square foot six-story building occupies an 1.4 acre site and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

“The disposal of the Cotton Annex reflects a more aggressive approach at GSA to dispose of excess and unneeded federal buildings. It is also an important step in economic revitalization of the Southwest area of the District of Columbia,” said PBS Regional Commissioner, National Capital Region, Mary Gibert.
