2017 International Builders’ Show to Showcase the Industry’s Largest Product Display

WASHINGTON – (RealEstateRama) — Housing professionals from across the country and abroad will convene at the Orange County Convention Center Jan. 10-12 for the 2017 International Builders’ Show® (IBS), the largest annual light construction show in the world. The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) event, held in one of the largest convention centers in the country, will feature the most cutting-edge designs, technologies and products for all segments of the industry.

Here are just some of the many exciting innovations that builders will see at the event of the year for the home building and remodeling industry.

Laundry Jet (S442): A Best of IBS Awards finalist in the “Best Home Technology Product” 2017 category in the company’s first IBS show, Laundry Jet is launching the world’s first vacuum driven “in home” laundry delivery system, transporting all your dirty clothes, underwear, bedsheets, towels and more, directly to the laundry room, from your bedroom, bathroom or closet at the touch of a button. Taymor (W6947): The new Taymor Premier Interconnected Lock with Catana door lever is the first modern, single-motion egress lock and lever to conform to the California State Reference Code for multifamily residential projects. Covertech (W4572): rfoil house wrap material increases the wall efficiency by 20 percent and also stops 96 percent of radiant heat transfer. It helps reduce air conditioning cost in the summer, while reducing heating cost in the winter.

DaVinci Roofscapes (W6871): DaVinci Roofscapes®, the industry leader in polymer roofing colors, will showcase the four recently-introduced DaVinci EcoBlend® options approved by the Cool Roof Rating Council (CRRC) in their booth at the 2017 International Builders’ Show. The EcoBlend roofing tiles reflect sunlight and heat away from a home or commercial structure. The new color blends all meet Title 24 requirements for California.

Demilec (P2): Demilec, one of North America’s largest manufacturers of spray foam insulation and polyurea products, is introducing its first closed-cell spray foam insulation to eliminate ozone-depleting hydrofluorocarbons (HFC) at this year’s International Builders’ Show in the outdoor exhibits. Wondercap (S551): The Wondercap is a revolutionary fitting designed to stop construction waste entering and blocking waste pipes. Doors, Cabinetry, Countertops and Windows

Apollo Building Products Inc. (S468): Apollo Building Products will launch its Topline ™ prefinished fiberglass entry door system. Built by 360 CompoSeal Technology ™, this system includes full composite edge fiberglass door, white smooth or color grain composite doorjambs, scratch-resistant doorlite frames and composite bottom doorsills. It is rod and water-resistant, energy-saving and low maintenance for home owners.

Brombal USA (S1844): Brombal USA will showcase their thermally broken steel windows and doors, which offer flexibility in design, have hidden multipoint lock systems that make oversized units possible, and are available in many colors, finishes and hardware options. What most companies consider to be high standards for manufacturing, Brombal considers standard practice, because beautiful designs deserve to be created flawlessly.

L.E. Johnson Products Inc. (S1333): L.E. Johnson Hardware will introduce its new line of Soft Close Hardware for the Pocket Door Frame Set (Series 1500SC) and Barn Door Hardware (Series 2610SC). This product line is easy to install and gives an automatic open and close to its pocket door and wall mount sliding door hardware.

Phantom Screens (W6691): Phantom Screens has developed a new motorized retractable wall screen that covers 40-foot wide openings and beyond. This screen is virtually the first of its kind in the industry. Until now, motorized screens could only cover a maximum of 25 feet. Thanks to special technology introduced by the Phantom team, they can now provide motorized wall screens to cover larger openings without any bowing in the roller or sagging in the mesh. It will be available in the market September 2017.

These shutters will be available through Timberlane’s direct-to-consumer channel and the newly-launched Dealer channel.

USG Structural Solutions (S1051): USG Structural Panel Concrete Foundation Wall is a wall panel that is fastened to load-bearing cold-formed steel studs for a non-rotting, noncombustible high-strength foundation wall. This product is ideal for use in residential construction, in applications such as full-height basements, storm shelters, crawl spaces and cellars. Additional features and benefits include: dimensionally stable; moisture-, mold- and termite-resistant; thinner profile and faster installation than CMU or concrete; and no pouring, no setting, no formwork, no curing.

Wizard (S1557): Wizard Screens leads the market with custom made insect and solar screens that disappear when not in use. Excited to exhibit for the first time at IBS, further extending their customers’ experience to having larger openings to bring the outdoors in. Bringing enthusiasm to IBS, Wizard team is excited to bring their premium screens to the design and construction industry. BuildersLighting.com (S1247): BuildersLighting.com will introduce the Scene Master chandelier, the lighting industry’s first “smart” chandelier, capable of creating multiple lighting scenes via a wireless dimmer on your tablet or cell phone. Uplighting, downlighting and general lighting from one chandelier can be combined into multiple lighting scenes using the Apple HomeKit compatible Lutron Caseta app.

Eaton (W3490): Eaton will showcase its latest residential solutions that help builders provide the modern home lifestyle home buyers are seeking. The future of home connectivity is bright, and Eaton has the vision and portfolio to bring it to light, including innovative lighting and residential wiring devices solutions that increase safety and security, reduce energy costs and save time and money.

Kichler® (W5942): Kichler’s Moderne is a statement LED chandelier collection that is a dynamic addition to contemporary or even transitional design. Suspended by aircraft cables and offset geometric panels, Moderne’s 2600 lumens produce functional light both up and down. Moderne is available in two sizes and finishes—Olde Bronze™ with Natural Brass or Satin Nickel.

ODL Tubular Skylight (S3396): ODL’s Tubular Skylight is a fairly simple concept: a rooftop dome captures and then funnels light through a reflective tube to the ceiling. The Tubular Skylight diffuser spreads light evenly into your home. A 10″ diameter Tubular Skylight lights up to 150 square feet; the 14″ tubular skylight lights up to 300 square feet.

Sea Gull Lighting / Generation Brands (W3601): Sea Gull Lighting will unveil its new Traverse Unlimited LED Downlight, which is one of the easiest lighting fixtures on the market to install. With no need for junction boxes, recessed cans or trims, the cleverly self-contained recessed downlight saves time and money because it takes just a quick six minutes to install.
