Statement from NAHB Chairman Granger MacDonald on the Supreme Court’s Decision to Hear WOTUS Jurisdiction Dispute

Washington, DC – (RealEstateRama) — NAHB Chairman Granger MacDonald, a builder and developer from Kerrville, Texas, issued the following statement on the Supreme Court’s decision to take up the dispute over which lower courts can hear challenges to EPA’s rule defining “waters of the U.S.” in the Clean Water Act:

“The fact that the Supreme Court decided to enter this debate is another example of how the “waters of the U.S.” rule lacks any clarity for the regulated community. We hope policymakers come together to devise a practical, common-sense solution to protecting our nation’s waterways while taking into account the interests of local businesses and communities nationwide.”
