IHFA to administer $529,252 in Emergency Shelter Grants to assist homeless

(BOISE) Idaho Housing and Finance Association has received $529,252 in Emergency Shelter Grants (ESG) from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) that will provide homeless persons with basic shelter and essential supportive services. IHFA has administered the ESG funds to 19 Idaho organizations that serve individuals and families experiencing homelessness.

BOISE, IDAHO — March 13, 2008 — Homeowners who may qualify for up to $1,320 in property tax reduction have until April 15 to apply under Idaho’s Property Tax Reduction (Circuit Breaker) program. The benefits apply to property taxes on their primary residence, which must be in Idaho.
