IRVINE, Calif. – March 28, 2008 — The eight-county Chicago metropolitan area reported 6,466 properties with foreclosure filings in February, an 8 percent increase from the previous month and a 20 percent increase from February 2007, according to the latest RealtyTrac U.S. Foreclosure Market Report.
