DEBBIE BURKART JUDGES NCSHA EXCELLENCE AWARDS

WASHINGTON, D.C. – July 14, 2015 – (RealEstateRama) — National Equity Fund’s Debbie Burkart, National VP for Supportive Housing and lead for its veterans’ initiative, Bring them HOMES, has once again been chosen to be a judge for the National Council of State Housing Agencies’ annual award program for excellence. Judging will be held on July 14 and Burkart will participate in the Special Needs category this year.

NCSHA’s Annual Awards for Program Excellence honors state Housing Finance Agencies for their outstanding public purpose programs, projects and practices. Its mission is to share information among HFAs, identify industry best practices, recognize exemplary HFA efforts and encourage HFA innovation. Awards are made in several categories including communications, homeownership, legislative advocacy, management innovation, rental housing, special needs housing and special achievement.

Awards will be presented during the annual conference & showplace held September 26-29, in Nashville, Tennessee.
