For Rent Media Solutions Reaches Educational Milestone

Senior Counsel, Nadeen Green, Puts On Her 1,000th Fair Housing Presentation

NORFOLK, VA – October 19, 2011 – (RealEstateRama) — For Rent Media Solutions™, a leading resource for apartment searches nationwide and a division of Dominion Enterprises, has reached an educational milestone. Nadeen Green, Senior Counsel at For Rent Media Solutions™, presented her 1,000 and 1,001 fair housing presentations this week.

Green has worked tirelessly presenting Fair Housing law-focused presentations across the country. Green has spread important educational messages to various industry events and groups, from the National Apartment Association to the Multi-Housing World annual conventions. Her recent 1,000 presentation is a tremendous accomplishment and noteworthy highlight of her successful career. Green has been an attorney since 1979, and has taught Fair Housing law to the multi-family housing industry since the Fair Housing Amendments Act went into effect in 1989. Green also maintains the Fair Housing Blog, where she offers advice for rental and apartment managers and owners. Her articles also frequently appear in industry publications.

Dr. Debbie Phillips, Executive Director of the Georgia Apartment Industry Education Foundation and University Professor, comments on the four recent joint presentations staged with Nadeen: “Her presentations at Georgia Tech marked 1,000 and 1,001 fair housing seminars that she has given across the country! The students at both the University of Georgia and Georgia Tech enjoyed her programs, and the students in our building construction program were extremely interested in the seven construction and design aspects under the Fair Housing Act. As one student remarked, ‘this is the only class that we get to learn about these laws as it relates to multi-family construction.’”

For Rent Media Solutions president, Terry Slattery, is thrilled about Green’s accomplishments. “Nadeen’s legal background and expertise in the multifamily housing industry makes her a priceless entity to For Rent. We are so proud of her accomplishments and her emphasis on educating the industry.”
