Harry Norman Agents Lend a Hand with Habitat for Humanity Home Build

ATLANTA, GEORGIA – January 10, 2012 – (RealEstateRama) — Harry Norman, Realtors® teamed up with the Atlanta Board of Realtors® and Habitat for Humanity to construct a home for a family in need. The house, 3146 Delowe Drive in East Point, Ga., is the Board’s 11th home build project.

Construction on a Habitat for Humanity house is a seven week project, taking place on Saturdays. Each Saturday is assigned to a different company who provides a minimum of 40 volunteers to complete the 8-hour work day. Work began on this particular home Saturday, Oct. 20 and will conclude Saturday, Dec. 8.

Harry Norman, REALTORS® agents volunteered their time on Nov. 3. Michelle Hollberg, Harry Norman sales associate, says, “Our group of agent volunteers was outstanding. Everyone was excited to help and to be involved with the Board and this home build.” Lunch was provided by sponsors Rahall & Associates, Attorneys at Law. Lunch sponsors also provided the volunteers with water, Gatorade, snacks and all items needed for the work day such as trash bags, hand sanitizer, work gloves, etc.

This year’s recipient of the home build is Sateria Hutchinson, along with her daughter Jakiah, eight, son Jalen, six, and son Jamarion, 5. Hutchinson has worked as a fiscal support specialist for the Fulton County Tax Commissioner’s office for nearly six years
