HBA HONORED WITH NATIONAL AWARD

WASHINGTON, D.C. – July 30, 2015 – (RealEstateRama) — The National Association of Home Builders presented the Home Builders Association of Greater Little Rock (HBA-GLR) with the award: Best Membership Recruitment/Retention Plan. NAHB presented this honor at the Association of Excellence Awards Ceremony in Pittsburgh, PA.

“I can’t begin to tell you how proud I am of our members and staff,” said Nathan Cooper, President of the HBA. “Being the best among 800+ chapters across the country is humbling.”

“We have a very active association and the HBA offers a good mix of events and educational opportunities; this gives members the ability to craft their membership to better fit their company,” said Betsy Boyette, Membership Committee Co-Chair and Allstate Insurance Agent. “New members and seasoned members alike feel a sense of belonging because of our members’ willingness to participate.”

“The Membership Committee is dedicated to make each and every event fun and memorable, which undoubtedly helps us retain and grow our membership,” added Boyette. Currently, the association has over 300 members representing all facets of construction, from contractors to lenders to suppliers.
