Homeowners invited to USDA, NMHC info session

WASHINGTON, DC, – (RealEstateRama) — Marianas residents who wish to repair or improve their homes for health or safety reasons are encouraged to attend a free information session with the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Rural Development Program and the Northern Marianas Housing Corporation on April 18 at the American Red Cross – NMI Chapter office on Airport Road in Dandan, Saipan. Two sessions will be offered on that day: the first at 3:00-5:00pm, and the second at 6:00 – 8:00pm.

USDA will present information about the Section 504 Home Repair loan and grant program which provides financial assistance to eligible homeowners who are low-income, elderly, or with disabilities, to repair or upgrade their homes to make them safer, more resilient, and/or more accessible. NMHC will present information about the HOME Investment Program, which supports safe, decent, sanitary, and affordable housing, and local financing programs available for home construction.
