The 2016 RESO “Show N Tell” included brief “Ted Talk” like demonstrations of some of the newest breakthrough innovations in real estate and leveraging data to engage real estate professionals and their clients in a way that helps streamline the real estate transaction. The three winning innovations:

HomeSpotter – Winner “Best in Show”: Aaron Kardell, Founder and CEO provided the winning demonstration for HomeSpotter. The HomeSpotter mobile app provides a beautiful mobile-first home search to more than 250,000 real estate agents throughout the U.S. and Canada. Kardell showed how HomeSpotter makes collaboration fast, easy and fun for agents and their buyers.

Agent Inbox – Winner “Honorable Mention”: Tyler Gordon, CEO and Co-Founder, earned the first honorable mention for Agent Inbox. Agent Inbox is a modern messaging experience for the messaging-centric MLS. Built on top of and powered by local MLS data, Agent Inbox facilitates transaction communications within context, accessible everywhere, and with all the listing data needed to complete a transaction. Agent Inbox is leading the messaging revolution for agents, brokerages, customers, MLSs, bots, and vendors in the real estate industry.

TrustFunds – Winner “Honorable Mention”: Lynn Leegard, President, also earned an honorable mention for TrustFunds. TrustFunds completes the electronic transaction with it’s “Earnest Money Made Easy” technology. It is an integrated core service within a multiple listing service that allows a buyer to electronically submit earnest money directly to a designated trust account. TrustFunds solves many pain points of a paper check by being much more convenient, safer by protecting buyer privacy, provides for better regulatory compliance and displays real-time status of payments for agents, brokers and other designated trust account holders.

“All three winners – HomeSpotter, Agent Inbox and TrustFunds– are actively working to improve the real estate transaction through innovation and collaboration,” says Jeremy Crawford, Executive Director of RESO. “They each showed that data standards in real estate are vital to deliver the best, most reliable and consistent experience that is needed for a better real estate experience.”

Other technologies showcased at the 2016 RESO “Show N Tell” included Harmony from Robotik Software; Address Report from OnBoard Informatics; InstaView from Property Panorama; Homes.com; SpatialStream™ platform from DigiMap; Capture from Buyside; Listing metrics from ListTrac; ShowingTime; iCMALive from PropMix.io; Prempoint; SmartZip; Aculist from MLSListings; Clareity Broker Dashboard from Clareity Security, as well as CloudMLX and Cloud CMA from W+R Studios.
RESO also announced its Spring Conference set for Austin, Texas April 24-26, which it also expects to be a sellout.
