Through this partnership with Walk Score, renters can measure the walkability of a neighborhood and use this feature when narrowing down their search for apartments.

How Does It Work?
The site’s algorithm awards points based on the distance to amenities in each category. Categories include: restaurants, groceries, shopping, coffee shops, schools, bars, public transportation and more. No points are awarded for amenities further than one mile. The points are summed and normalized to yield a score from 0 to 100 — the higher the score, the more walker-friendly the area. This allows prospects to target neighborhoods based on their needs, resulting in a great user experience that translates into more qualified LEADS™ for apartment communities.
