Inland Empire Utilities Agency Launches Advanced Energy Storage System to take on Water-Energy Nexus

Inland Empire, CA – (RealEstateRama) — The Inland Empire Utilities Agency (IEUA) and Advanced Microgrid Solutions (AMS) will host a dedication event for their landmark water-energy project on October 20 at 11:00 a.m. The project is the first-of-its-kind to integrate renewable resources and energy storage at a public water agency. The system uses Tesla battery technology to integrate solar, wind, biogas and grid resources in order to optimize renewable generation, reduce demand on the electric grid and lower energy costs.

IEUA

The 3.65 MW energy storage solution is custom designed to optimize IEUA’s on-site generation in order to enhance the agency’s clean energy footprint and continue its reputation as a leader in clean technology and environmental stewardship.
