KANSAS HOUSING RESOURCES CORPORATION SEEKS PUBLIC COMMENT ON PROPOSED MODERATE INCOME HOUSING PROGRAM

TOPEKA – June 6, 2012 – (RealEstateRama) — Kansas Housing Resources Corporation (KHRC) is asking for public comments on the Corporation’s plan to help cities and counties develop moderate income housing and infrastructure in rural areas. The draft plan, called Kansas Moderate Income Housing (MIH) Request for Proposal (RFP), outlines eligible applicants and activities, application procedures, grant/loan structuring, award criteria, compliance monitoring and reporting requirements. KHRC anticipates releasing approximately $2.75 million from the State Housing Trust Fund (SHTF) through the MIH RFP.
