Landlord and Property Manager Workshop

WASHINGTON, D.C. – April 14, 2014 – (RealEstateRama) — The Sioux City Human Rights Commission’s annual Landlord and Property Manager Workshop will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2014, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the third floor conference room of the Long Lines Family Recreation Center, 401 Gordon Drive.

Topics covered during the workshop will include the rights and responsibilities of both tenants and landlords, the Fair Housing Act, the City’s Section 8 program, lead based paint, record keeping, the Sioux City Housing Maintenance Code, and maintaining tenant relations.

The cost of this annual workshop is normally $50 per person. This year the training is available free of charge due to a special Partnership Grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
