Mayor Bowser and Greater Washington Community Foundation to Launch the District’s First-Ever Public–Private Partnership to End Homelessness

(Washington, DC) — (RealEstateRama) — On Thursday, June 6, at 10:30 am, Mayor Bowser, along with her Interagency Council on Homelessness (ICH) and the Greater Washington Community Foundation, will launch the Partnership to End Homelessness.

The innovative partnership will aim to galvanize private sector investment and coordinate the public and private sectors around a shared strategy to address homelessness and housing insecurity in Washington, DC. The partnership will build on Mayor Bowser’s Homeward DC plan, which has helped reduce the number of persons experiencing homelessness in the District by 21.9% since 2016.
