Mayor Bowser to Host Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony for Transitional Housing that Supports Young Adults

WASHINGTON, D.C. – March 26, 2015 – (RealEstateRama) — Continuing the Pathways to the Middle Class Tour, Mayor Muriel Bowser and Deputy Mayor for Health and Human Services Brenda Donald will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at 11 am for a transitional home for young people who need support to live independently and succeed. A partnership between the Child and Family Services Agency and the Department of Behavioral Health, the 18-month program will help young people between the ages of 18-24 who might otherwise be homeless build the skills they need to be self-sufficient.

This event is part of Mayor Bowser’s Pathways to the Middle Class Tour, a week-long effort leading up to the March 31st State of the District Address to highlight ways the Administration is helping to create Pathways to the Middle Class for District residents.
