MBA Honors U.S. Bank Home Mortgage’s Dan Arrigoni with Distinguished Service Award

SAN DIEGO, CA – October 20, 2015 – (RealEstateRama) — The Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) honored Dan Arrigoni, formerly president of U.S. Bank Home Mortgage, with its Andrew D. Woodward Distinguished Service Award. The award is presented in recognition of dedication and prominent service to MBA and the mortgage lending industry in a variety of capacities involving both legislative and regulatory activities. Arrigoni was presented the award in a ceremony held at MBA’s Annual Convention & Expo in San Diego, CA.

“Dan Arrigoni has been an active member of MBA for more than 20 years. He’s taken the lead in tackling some of the hottest issues for our industry by serving on MBA’s Board of Directors, RESBOG, Executive Roundtable, FHA Executive Task Force, RESPA at the Ready Working Group, and so much more,” said Bill Emerson, Chairman of the MBA. “Personally, I know him as my friend and colleague.”

The Distinguished Service Award is the highest honor an individual can receive from his or her fellow MBA members. Nominees for the annual award must meet the following criteria:

Be associated with an MBA member firm
Compile a record of long, sustained and extraordinary service to MBA and the mortgage industry
Have a strong reputation for ethical and professional conduct.
The award was recently renamed to honor of former MBA Chairman, the late Andy Woodward. Andy set an extraordinary example for his leadership abilities, especially with his involvement in the Council to Shape Change Report.

Arrigoni served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of U.S. Bank Home Mortgage, a Division of US Bancorp, until June 30, 2013. Mr. Arrigoni served as an Executive Vice President of Investors Bank Corp./MN and its subsidiary, Investors Savings Bank, F.S.B.- Mortgage Production. He served as Treasurer of Investors savings Bank F S B. He joined and served as an Employee and officer of Investors Bank Corp. since September 30, 1991. He has been an Independent Director of MGIC Investment Corp. since July 25, 2013 and Forsythe Appraisals, LLC since September 3, 2013.
