NAHB Associates Committee Honors Dedicated Members

WASHINGTON, D.C. – (RealEstateRama) — Four longtime members of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) were inducted recently into the Society of Honored Associates, a lifetime award intended to distinguish those members who have made invaluable contributions to the building industry. The prestigious award is given to Associate members who are chosen as finalists for the Associate of the Year Award.

“The Society of Honored Associates is one of our top honors reserved only for those Associate members who have demonstrated a long commitment to the industry,” said 2017 Associates Committee Chair Monica Sommerfeldt Lewis of Archer Lion Inc. in Chippewa Falls, Wis. “This year’s inductees have contributed countless hours of their time and shown outstanding dedication to the industry, so we are pleased to be able to thank them for their hard work by presenting them with this award.”

Here are this year’s inductees:

Ken Callahan, of Montana-Dakota Utilities in Williston, N.D., is the founding president of the Williston Area Builders Association and served as president for the first three years. He has been involved in several committees on the local, state and national levels, including serving as chair of the local and state government affairs PAC committees. Callahan has also received awards for coordinating and fundraising the building of the largest playground in North Dakota.

Aaron Crowe, of Simpson Strong-Tie in Benton, Ark., is a current member of the HBA of Greater Little Rock and formerly a member of the HBA of Greater Hot Springs. During his time with the HBA of Greater Hot Springs, he chaired the membership committee from 2005-2011, and has also chaired and served on several committees at the state level and national levels. In 2009, Crowe received the Associate of the Year award from the Alabama HBA and has received various awards for his civic activities.

Linda Mosier-Vaudt, of Mosier-Vaudt Consulting in Gig Harbor, Wash., has been an Associate member with the Olympia Master Builders for 18 years. She has chaired a variety of committees and has been an active board member on the local level and state levels. She has also been involved in several committees on the national level and has been a member of the board of directors for 10 years. Mosier-Vaudt received the NAHB Chairman’s Award – Associate in 2012 and has also received awards for her civic activities.

Michael Tribble, of Yeo & Yeo CPAs in Saginaw, Mich., has been an Associate member with the Home Builders Association of Saginaw for 23 years. He has chaired several committees on the local and state levels, and also serviced as associate vice chair of the state association for three years. He received Associate of the Year awards from his local and state associations, and has also received awards for his professional and civic activities.
