Washington, D.C. – February 29, 2016 – (RealEstateRama) — Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC), in conjunction with Destination DC, the District of Columbia’s official tourism and marketing office, will host a Capitol Hill event on Friday, February 19, 2016, from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m., in 345 Cannon House Office Building (Cannon Caucus Room) to showcase D.C.’s local restaurants, nightlife, museums, shops, theaters, neighborhoods, and other tourist attractions to congressional and other regional staffers. Samples from a variety of D.C. restaurants will be available, and Hill Country Barbecue will provide boxed lunches.

“Each year, our burgeoning hospitality industry highlights the increasing number of D.C. hot spots that Members of Congress and their staff may not even know about,” Norton said. “It is a very popular event on the Hill not only because Members and staffers can learn about what is new, but also so they can inform their constituents visiting the nation’s capital about the best attractions our city has to offer.”

In order to guarantee entrance, participants must bring a business card, or write their name, job title, and email on a card.
