WASHINGTON, D.C. — (RealEstateRama) — Barbara Tulipane, CAE, president and CEO of the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) issued the following statement in response to the introduction of the Land and Water Conservation Fund Permanent Funding Act:

“NRPA applauds Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) and Sen. Cory Gardner (R-CO) for taking action and introducing a bill to fully fund the Land and Water Conservation Fund. Our member agencies rely on this important funding to help provide access to parks and recreational opportunities in communities across the country, and we urge our members of Congress to join Senators Manchin and Gardner in support of this bill. Because everyone deserves a great park.”
