Pircher, Nichols & Meeks Hires Kathleen Dempsey Boyle As Of Counsel

CHICAGO – May 15, 2014 – (RealEstateRama) — Pircher, Nichols & Meeks, a national real estate law firm with offices in Chicago and Los Angeles, announced that Kathleen Dempsey Boyle has joined the firm as an of counsel member in the Chicago office. Ms. Boyle has an extensive background in commercial real estate transactions for the development, operation and leasing of shopping centers, infill urban developments and mixed use properties.

Prior to joining Pircher, Nichols & Meeks, Ms. Boyle was an associate general counsel at General Growth Properties, Inc., where she handled complex real estate development matters including acquisitions and sales, municipal agreements, and anchor store, theater and big box leasing. Prior to that, Ms. Boyle was an attorney for Bridgestone tire and auto stores, where she negotiated new store leases, ground leases and financings with landlords and leasehold and fee lenders nationally.

An active speaker and author, Ms. Boyle has presented at the ICSC Lawyers Conference, Women in Planning and Development and the University of Michigan Law School Real Estate Law Society. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Ely Chapter of Lambda Alpha International, the land economics society.

Ms. Boyle earned her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School where she served as the notes editor of the Michigan Year Book of International Legal Studies. She completed her bachelor’s degree at Augustana College, graduating magna cum laude.
