Atlantic City, N.J. – November 25, 2013 – (RealEstateRama) — As in years past, the New Jersey, New York State and Pennsylvania Associations of Realtors will host a donations drive for the Atlantic City Rescue Mission during the Triple Play Realtor Convention and Trade Expo, coming to the Atlantic City Convention Center December 10-12, 2013. Realtors attending the convention will be donating non-perishable food items, toiletries and household items, or making monetary donations to help those in need this holiday season.

Located across the street from the Convention Center, the ACRM has been has been serving homeless and poor men, women and mothers with children since 1964. Annually, the ACRM helps over 3,300 homeless and working poor people and is the largest provider of comprehensive services, aiding approximately 20 percent of the Garden State’s homeless population. ACRM is also unique in that it serves unsubsidized individuals as well. For the last four years, The Triple Play Convention & Trade Expo has supported the ACRM by encouraging attendees to donate items.
During this year’s convention, a drop-off box will be located at the Messages & Information Desk at the Trade Expo entrance (Level 2, Hall B). Donations can be dropped off during the following hours:
- Tuesday, December 10, between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m.
- Wednesday, December 11, between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m.
The Mission has requested the following items for donation:
- Non-perishable food items
- Canned goods
- Sugar (white and brown)
- Coffee
- Salt, pepper and other spices
- Disposable diapers and baby products
- Toothbrushes and toothpaste
- Shampoo and conditioner
- Toilet tissue
- Medications and first aid products
- Paper products
- Cash donations are always appreciated
The Triple Play Realtor Convention & Tradie Expo is the largest annual real estate event in the region, offering real estate professionals premier access to distinguished speakers, educational opportunities, trend analysis and more. This year, more than 8,000 people are expected to attend the event. The Trade Expo will consist of more than 300 booths showcasing the latest real estate technology and products.
