Shawn Cunningham Receives Honor as the 2014 CRS of the Year for Southern Nevada

WASHINGTON, D.C. – December 10, 2014 – (RealEstateRama) — The Council of Residential Specialists (CRS) – Southern Nevada Chapter recently announced Shawn Cunningham, CRS of Las Vegas as the 2014 CRS of the Year. The award was presented at the Chapter’s annual meeting held December 9th at Trump International Hotel.

Cunningham, a licensed REALTOR in Nevada, is a broker/salesperson at RE/MAX Advantage in Henderson and Las Vegas. He has been an active member of the National Association of Realtors® (NAR), the Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors® since 2003 and a member of the Council of Residential Specialists (CRS) since 2005. He has earned several of the real estate industry’s highest designations, including CRS, Accredited Buyer’s Representative, the RE/MAX Lifetime Achievement Award, and been named “40 Under 40” by the REALTORS’ Young Professional Network.

With the southern Nevada chapter of CRS, he has served as treasurer in 2014 and will be the President-Elect for the chapter and chair the “Chapter with a Heart” committee in 2015.

Not only is Shawn very active within the real estate community, he is known for his dedication to a variety of causes including Junior Achievement, Spread the Word, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Nevada, UNLV’s DECA chapter and other causes related to the valley’s at risk youth.
