West Branch Regional Medical Center Saving Energy and Money with Incentive from Consumers Energy

WASHINGTON, DC – (RealEstateRama) — Consumers Energy today presented a $46,348 Business Solutions incentive rebate check to West Branch Regional Medical Center for participating in the company’s energy efficiency program for commercial and industrial customers.

The medical center received the rebates for lighting upgrades at its facilities. The upgrades will save West Branch Regional Medical Center an estimated $53,000 annually in energy costs.

Scott Silverthorn, a corporate account manager for Consumers Energy, presented the check.

“We fulfill our Promise to care for the Michigan communities we serve by helping economic drivers in Michigan as West Branch Regional Medical Center lower and manage their energy bills,” Silverthorn said.

“We are pleased that various energy improvements we have made on our campuses are paying off,” said Robert McGrail, WBRMC chief executive officer. “We look forward to continued improvements that will not only reduce our energy costs but also lead to maximizing energy and operational efficiencies.”
