NEW YORK, NY – December 22, 2011 – (RealEstateRama) — Christian Louboutin will open its first men’s boutique in the US at TF Cornerstone’s 808-10 Washington St. in Manhattan’s Meatpacking District. RKF arranged the long-term, 1,035-square-foot ground-floor retail lease for the new store at the base of TF Cornerstone’s luxury rental apartments, located between Gansevoort and Horatio Streets. Scheduled to open in late spring 2012, the boutique will be steps from the High line Park and upcoming Whitney Museum.

Executive Vice President Karen Bellantoni and Director Pamela Haber arranged the lease on behalf of building ownership, TF Cornerstone. RKF is the exclusive retail leasing representative for TF Cornerstone. Jeffrey Painser of Ripco Real Estate Corp. represented Christian Louboutin.

“We are honored and excited to have Christian Louboutin open their first men’s store in this prime location,” says Steve Gonzalez, Retail Leasing Manager for TF Cornerstone. “The Meatpacking District is rapidly becoming a shopping mecca and this new store will add to the neighborhood’s cache.”

“Christian Louboutin joins high-end retail brands Intermix, Vanita Rosa and Jay Godfrey at the property,” said Bellantoni. “The men’s store will have 20 feet of major street frontage on Washington Street, which has fast-become one of the most sought-after retail locations in the city. The success at this development has been tremendous.”

Only one retail space remains at 808-10 Washington: an 875-square-foot, newly renovated retail space that is available for immediate occupancy. RKF is also marketing three spaces totaling 9,130-square-feet of newly renovated ground-floor retail space at 90 Gansevoort, located in the building on the south block between Washington Street and West Street.

The Christian Louboutin brand features exquisitely-designed Parisian women’s shoes and handbags and has recently expanded into men’s shoes. Christian Louboutin has two New York City boutiques, located at 965 Madison Ave. and 59 Horatio St, close to the new men’s store located around the corner from downtown Manhattan location. The brand is sold internationally and currently has eight U.S. boutiques located in New York, California, Texas, Florida and Las Vegas.
