SECRETARY DONOVAN AND GOVERNOR CHRISTIE ANNOUNCE APPROVAL OF NEW JERSEY’S DISASTER RECOVERY PLAN $1.8 billion to help communities in Garden State to rebuild from Hurricane Sandy

WASHINGTON, D.C. – April 30, 2013 – (RealEstateRama) — U.S. Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Secretary Shaun Donovan today announced HUD’s approval of New Jersey’s disaster recovery plan to help homeowners and businesses following Hurricane Sandy. Funded through HUD’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program, New Jersey’s action plan calls for a $1.83 billion investment to support a variety of housing, infrastructure and business activities.
