Morgan Inducted as the 2014 NAHB Professional Women in Building Council Chair

WASHINGTON, D.C. – March 6, 2014 – (RealEstateRama) — Carol Morgan, of mRELEVANCE LLC in Atlanta, was recently sworn in as the 2014 chair of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) Professional Women in Building (PWB) Council during the International Builders’ Show in Las Vegas.

“PWB makes a difference in our industry and I am honored to be a part of the leadership of this group,” said Morgan. “I look forward to serving the members of this organization and am eager to work with these incredible women to address the issues impacting women in the industry, as well as to grow the organization nationwide and further expand our reach.”

As chair of the PWB Council, Morgan will manage the council’s business and represent the interests of the council members throughout NAHB. Her year as national chair is already underway and she has begun working toward the goals for this year: building a broader base of leadership, fully integrating PWB into NAHB, increasing council membership, raising money for BUILD-PAC and increasing the number of PWB councils at the local level.

Morgan has been involved in PWB at the national level for several years. She has served in a number of positions including vice chair in 2013, Region B trustee in 2012 and 2013 and communications chair in 2010 and 2011. At the local level she was instrumental in the founding of the Atlanta PWB chapter, which is now the largest local council in the nation.

With more than 20 years of public relations experience, Morgan is the managing partner of Marketing RELEVANCE, a marketing, communication and interactive agency with offices in Atlanta and Chicago. She is also the founder of atlantarealestateforum.com/ and author of top-selling BuilderBooks “Social Media 3.0.”
