Consumers Energy Presents Energy Efficiency Incentive Check to American MITSUBA Corp.

Washington, DC – December 10, 2015 – (RealEstateRama) — Consumers Energy today presented a $97,740 Business Solutions incentive rebate check to American MITSUBA Corp. for participating in the company’s energy efficiency program for commercial and industrial customers.

American MITSUBA Corp. received the rebates for energy efficiency upgrades to its exterior building lights and parking lot lights, compressed air system upgrades and HVAC controls to reduce electric consumption. As a result, the corporation will save about $105,000 in energy annually.

“We’re pleased to work with our business and residential customers to provide these incentives which help our customers reduce demand on energy and realize significant cost savings,” said Scott Silverthorn, corporate account manager for Consumers Energy. “This program is one way we work to increase sustainability and help achieve a legacy of leaving Michigan better than we found it.”
