Charleston, WV - November 14, 2011 - (RealEstateRama) -- Congresswoman Shelley Moore Capito (WV-02) announced today that affordable housing projects in Charleston, Fairmont, Martinsburg, Wayne, Wheeling, and White Sulphur Springs have been awarded more than $1.4 million in Affordable Housing Program (AHP) grants.

Pittsburgh, PA - October 28, 2011 - (RealEstateRama) -- The Board of Directors of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh (FHLBank) has approved $2.99 million in grants under its Affordable Housing Program (AHP). The grants will help finance 14 housing projects – one in Delaware, six in Pennsylvania and seven in West Virginia – creating 260 units of housing for very-low, low- and moderate-income individuals and families as well as those with special needs.

The grants approved by the Bank’s Board of Directors in AHP Round A were awarded to 45 projects that address the diverse housing needs of communities in Arizona, California, Illinois, Nevada, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Washington, and will produce or preserve 2,787 housing units that are affordable to lower-income individuals and families.

February 22, 2011 - (RealEstateRama) -- The Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco (FHLBank San Francisco) awarded $36.6 million in Affordable Housing Program (AHP) grants in the second round of its 2010 funding competition. The grants approved by the Bank’s Board of Directors in AHP Round B were awarded to 60 projects that address the affordable housing needs of communities in Arizona, California, Colorado, Illinois, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, and Washington, and will produce or preserve 3,213 housing units that are affordable to lower-income individuals and families. The total amount of AHP funds awarded in 2010 is $69.1 million.
