Today, the Liberty Bell is displayed in its glass pavilion on Independence Mall. Visitors can also take a self-guided tour of the nearby Independence Hall, where the Declaration of Independence and Constitution were signed.

Reading Terminal Market

Located in Center City, Reading Terminal Market is one of Philadelphia’s most beloved institutions. The market has been serving fresh food since 1893 and is home to over 80 vendors selling everything from locally-sourced produce to gourmet cheeses to freshly-baked pies.

In addition to being a great place to do your grocery shopping, Reading Terminal Market is also a popular lunch spot for locals and visitors alike. With so many delicious options available, it’s hard to choose just one!

The Franklin Institute
