CREW Network President Tara Piurko Appointed to Real Estate Roundtable FY2019 Board of Directors

WASHINGTON, D.C., USA (July 3, 2018) – (RealEstateRama) — CREW Network President Tara L. Piurko, Partner, Miller Thomson LLP, has been appointed to The Real Estate Roundtable’s Board of Directors for its 2019 fiscal year (July 1, 2018 – June 30, 2019). Piurko will represent CREW Network from July to December 2018, and 2019 CREW Network President Holly Neber, CEO, AEI Consultants, will assume the role from January to June 2019.

The Real Estate Roundtable is comprised of industry leaders from top publicly-held and privately-owned real estate ownership, development, lending and management firms. The FY2019 Board is elected from the membership and includes four elected leaders of real estate trade organizations from The Roundtable’s 17 partner associations. The Roundtable’s business and trade association leaders seek to ensure a cohesive industry voice is heard by U.S. government officials and the public about real estate and its important role in the global economy.

Fellow CREW Network member and 2017 Distinguished Leader Jodie McLean, CEO, EDENS, was also appointed to serve on the 23-member FY2019 Board. In addition, The Roundtable elected Debra A. Cafaro, Chairman and CEO, Ventas, Inc., as its new Chair for a three-year term starting July 1, 2018.
