Report Released Analyzing the HOME Investment Partnerships Program’s Economic Impact in All 50 States

WASHINGTON, D.C. – November 10, 2015 – (RealEstateRama) — Recently the HOME Coalition released the Building HOME: The HOME Investment Partnerships Program’s Impact on America’s Families and Communties. The report is available here. This first-of-its-kind report analyzes the program’s economic impact in all 50 states and features over 100 HOME Success Stories from communities across the nation.

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development provides annual funding to participating jurisdictions (SDHDA) to develop their own programs in partnership with local governments, nonprofit organizations, and the private sector. The HOME Program provides funds to developers and/or owners for acquisition, new construction, and rehabilitation of affordable housing.  Annually, SDHDA receives a little over $3 million in funding.
