Sherman Calls for End to Affordable Housing & Homelessness Crisis in Press Conference

WASHINGTON, D.C. – RealEstateRama – During the 2024 Democratic Issues Conference, Congresswoman Brad Sherman (CA-32) joined House Financial Services Committee Ranking Member Maxine Waters in a breakout session entitled, “Housing for All: Tackling the Affordable Housing and Homelessness Crisis.”

During the panel, Members discussed the spectrum of housing challenges across the country, legislative strategies to address it, and how Members can work with their local communities to strengthen the delivery of housing resources to increase supply and lower costs.

“I joined Ranking Member Maxine Waters and my fellow House Financial Services Committee colleagues at a press conference to discuss the nation’s housing and homelessness crisis, including the need to reform regulations to allow disabled veterans to qualify for supportive housing programs,” said Congressman Sherman after the conculsion of the event.
