Hoeven: FAA Awards $3.4 Million to North Dakota Airport Terminal Projects
WASHINGTON – RealEstateRama – Senator John Hoeven today announced that the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has awarded $3.4 million in funding for three airport infrastructure projects across North Dakota through the Fiscal Year 2026 Airport Terminal Program (ATP). As a member of the Senate Transportation Appropriations Committee, Hoeven has secured funding to advance airport development projects and strong federal investments in transportation infrastructure to benefit communities across North Dakota.
The funding will support the following projects:
- Rolla Municipal Airport – $1.425 million – Reconstruct existing terminal building
- Bismarck Municipal Airport – $1 million – Reconstruct and expand existing terminal building
- Hector International Airport (Fargo) – $1 million – Install passenger boarding bridges as part of terminal expansion project
“Modern, reliable airport infrastructure is essential for supporting commerce, connecting communities and improving travel across North Dakota,” said Hoeven. “These grants will help enhance terminal facilities in Rolla, Bismarck, and Fargo while ensuring these airports are better equipped to serve residents, businesses and visitors for years to come.”
