The 10-year Sacramento Promise Zone Initiative complements the recent launch of Mayor Kevin Johnson’s Downtown Housing Initiative to create 10,000 places to live downtown over the next 10 years which together will require an extraordinary commitment of resources from a wide variety of public and private partners to be successfully implemented. The forum will provide an opportunity for dialogue and best practices information sharing by panelists from a local, regional and national perspective.
