MHP to Hold Annual Norman Christeller Golf Classic Fundraiser on June 12

National -

(Silver Spring, MD – RealEstateRama – MHP will hold the 2023 Norman Christeller Golf Classic on June 12 at Hampshire Greens Golf Course in Ashton, MD.  This annual tournament provided the initial funds needed to start MHP over 30 years ago, and today it continues to raise critical funding for MHP’s Community Life programs, which provide enrichment for children living in affordable housing properties in Montgomery County, MD and beyond.

The tournament features a golf clinic for youth in MHP programs. For many, it is their first opportunity to try out the game of golf.

MHP’s Community Life enrichment program serves more than 400 children and their families at community centers at rental properties owned by MHP in Silver Spring, Wheaton, and Takoma Park. MHP partners with local organizations to provide services and resources for children and their parents. Recent partnerships include Arcola Elementary School, Nature Forward, Story Tapestries, Civic Circle, Judy Center, Washington Conservatory of Music, and more.

More than 100 business leaders and philanthropists will join MHP at the Norman Christeller Golf Classic to play golf, network, and raise funds to help MHP continue its mission of housing people, empowering families, and strengthening neighborhoods.
