Company’s New Office Space Supports Current and Future Planned Growth

DENVER, COLO. – May 4, 2015 – (RealEstateRama) — National award-winning architecture and planning firm, KTGY Group, Inc., announced today the relocation to new office space in Denver to accommodate its rapid growth and expansion. The new office space, located within the same building at 820 16th Street, Suite 500 in downtown Denver, Colo., will provide capacity for increased client support and services.

“We outgrew our space and needed more room to accommodate our expanded services,” said KTGY’s Studio Director Nathan Sciarra, AIA. “We decided to stay in the same building because the location is so ideal and provides for a strong community interface and accessibility to our clients.”

According to KTGY’s Terry A. Willis, AIA, LEED AP, a principal in the Denver office, “We are proud of the growth we are experiencing. Our move to a much larger space and investing in superior people represents our continued commitment to building on the success this team has accomplished. In addition to our dedicated designers and staff, this growth is possible because of our new and repeat clients and their valued trust.”

Last year, KTGY added Willis, a 30-year industry veteran, as principal in the firm’s Denver office. “Terry has not only brought an expertise in higher density residential work to further bolster what we were already doing but he also has strong expertise in transit-oriented development, commercial office and mixed-use developments,” said Sciarra. The Denver office recently added designers Terra Mazzeo as design director and Orville Giguiento as a project designer.

KTGY’s focus on feasible, profitable and contextual projects across all project types underscores KTGY’s work, according to Willis. “We have an abiding commitment to architecture and planning that meets client pro formas and reflects a true understanding of development, market and consumer trends,” Willis noted. “And, as KTGY’s design and planning awards list shows, we are equally committed to the aesthetic value and sustainability that engages the community and enriches the built environment everywhere we work.”

KTGY’s Denver office has more than 6,000 multi-family units currently in the design or construction phase. Additionally, KTGY is master-planning the Central Park Station area, the only transit-oriented development within Stapleton, located along the commuter rail line between Denver International Airport and Union Station. Developed by Forest City and conceptually designed by KTGY, the first phase encompasses a mixed-use office building of approximately 200,000 square feet and a mixed-use wrap apartment building that together define a new public ‘place’ in the heart of Stapleton. Both buildings are anticipated to have ground floor retail.

KTGY is also working on the design of The Grove Littleton, a 169-unit age-targeted wrap building with a combination of nearly 12,000 square feet of retail space in addition to 30 live/work units on the ground floor. Developed by Zocalo Community Development, The Grove Littleton is located near the downtown Littleton Station.

In addition, the Denver office of KTGY is excited to break ground on its first Hawaii project, Kapolei Lofts, a 500-unit residential community with 10,000 square feet of retail, with Forest City Hawaii; and a 465-unit apartment community for Lennar Multi-Family at 144th and Grant in Thornton, Colo.

Some of the KTGY-designed projects under construction include Carmel Partners’ Westend in downtown Denver at 3500 Rockmont Drive, a 398-unit hip apartment community with a rooftop terrace and pool to capture spectacular views of the Denver skyline. Located between Denver’s two most happening neighborhoods, LoDo and LoHi, units have been delivering over the last 3-4 months and will be completed at the end of 2015. Carmel Partners recently completed RockVue, a 220-unit apartment community in Broomfield, Colo.; and is in the process of completing Pearl, a 408-unit three-story walk-up apartment community located in the Denver Tech Center, at Interstate 25 and 225 and just over half a mile from the Belleview Light Rail Station.
