Congressman Andrews Announces $2.2 Million Grant to Fight Veteran Homelessness

    WASHINGTON, D.C. – July 15, 2013 – (RealEstateRama) — Last week, the Department of Veterans Affairs awarded nearly $300 million in competitive block grants all across the nation to aid more than 120,000 veterans. More than $2 million of those grants will go to groups in South Jersey to help get struggling veterans get back on their feet. The Department of Veterans Affairs will partner with these non-profit groups to cut down on the number of homeless veterans in our region.
