GOVERNOR BROWNBACK PROCLAIMS APRIL FAIR HOUSING MONTH

TOPEKA – April 4, 2012 – (RealEstateRama) — In celebration of the 44th anniversary of the 1968 landmark Fair Housing Act, Governor Sam Brownback has proclaimed April Fair Housing Month in Kansas. The Fair Housing Act is the federal law prohibiting discrimination in the sale, rental and financing of housing based on race, religion, national origin, sex, disability and familial status.
